Melanie Dellas is a Michigan native, with Sicilian roots on her mother’s side and
Greek on her father’s. She is the CEO and co-founder of Muse Curatorial
Consulting Group, a company that provides artifact preservation, exhibit
curation and installation, an
d collections management services for museums
around the country.
Melanie is also an award-winning magazine publisher and author who has been published in the
San Diego Business Journal’s
Top 50 Women Business Owners
and has been named a Woman of Vision by Modern Luxury
magazine. She also
writes and produces a weird history podcast called “The Unusual History of Every
Thing.”
Prior to becoming President of UNICO’s Naples Chapter, Melanie was chair of
Convivio’s Italian Heritage Commission, a Board Member for the Little Italy
Association in San Diego, and Secretary of the Sons & Daughters of Italy San
Diego Chapter.
She currently sits as the Secretary for both the Veterans History
Museum in Naples and To Arkadi, the Cretan Chapter of the Pancretan
Associa
tion of America. She resides in Naples with her two sons, John and Nick,
and their pomapoo, Octavia.
